Tritium Labelled Peptides Service: Strategic Alliance with CRB

Quotient Bioresearch has partnered with Cambridge Research Biochemicals (CRB) to supply both inactive and radioactive peptides to a high quality with reliable delivery in a single shipment. The result is a streamlined service, plus access to the combined expertise of both companies for difficult syntheses.

For more information about the combined service, see the full press release;

Tritiated Peptides from Quotient Bioresearch Tritium Peptide Packaging

Quotient scientists have been radiolabelling peptides with tritium for more than 60 years.

Peptides which have been site-specifically labelled with tritium are the ideal choice for use in receptor studies. Tritium labelling does not change the chemical structure of the peptide, giving ligands with chemical and biological properties identical to those of the unlabelled molecule.

The conventional route to tritium labelled peptides involves the catalytic hydrogenation or hydrogenolysis of a peptide analogue containing an unsaturated or iodinated precursor amino acid derivative. These peptides are assembled, purified and characterised in the same way as other peptides and then treated with tritium gas to generate the tritium labelled peptide.

To see molecular structures and labelling methods for proline leucine, tyrosine, and phenylalanine, download the Fact Sheet.

Inactive Peptides from CRB

Peptide SynthesiserCambridge Research Biochemicals (CRB) has been making peptides since 1980. Every peptide is custom-made to order and is supplied with purity by HPLC and identification by mass spectrometry. For more information, visit www.crbdiscovery.com/services/peptide-synthesis/

The partnership combines the expertise of both companies to give you an improved service to obtain high quality custom manufactured hot and cold peptides with one order, one contract, and one shipment.
